Changing an Account Code
It is possible to change the code of an account. When this is done, MoneyWorks will need to update all the records which use that code with the new code — this may take some time. Every transaction that uses the account, including posted transactions, will be changed to reflect the new account code.
Note: In multi-user mode, you can only change an Account code (or a department, group, category or classification code) when no other users are connected — see Changing “code” fields.
