Closing a connection to a Server

When you are logged in as a client, you log out using the Disconnect command rather than Close.

  1. Choose Disconnect from the File menu

You will be disconnected from the server.

Or you can just Quit/Exit MoneyWorks.

If you sleep your computer while connected (by closing your laptop lid, for example), MoneyWorks will try to log you out before the computer goes to sleep. If this fails, it will take 5 minutes or more for the server to notice that you have gone away, during which you'll still be consuming a login to the server. It is best to avoid sleeping your computer while connected.
