Repeating Fields
If you are importing repeating fields from FileMaker Pro, the repetitions will appear in the data list with slashes (/) between them. This slash actually represents the ASCII value 29 (Hex 1D, INFORMATION SEPARATOR THREE) that FileMaker inserts between exported repeating fields. Repeating fields can only be imported into detail line fields.
When repeating fields are imported into a transaction detail line, as many detail lines as there are repetitions of the repeating fields will be created. Each repeating field must have the same number of repetitions.
Note: If you elect to place a constant value into a detail line field, and other fields of that detail line have repeating values imported into them, the same constant value will be inserted for each of the lines thus created.
