transaction window too small (Depth)

I am running data server and one of the client computers does not display the bottom two lines of the transaction window.
I have tried reinstalling the client.
I have tried different screen resolutions
When I resize the window it will only open to the "total" line and will not display the OK button, etc.
As far as I can determine the computers are set up identically, and both used to work. Something has happened to the display settings on one of them but I cannot determine what it is.
