MoneyWorks and macOS High Sierra Compatibility

Post by grant » 28 Sep 2017 13:05

As advised in our September 2017 newsletter, the new file system in MacOS High Sierra is not compatible with MoneyWorks 7 and earlier, which rely on the old HFS+ file system. This is futher discussed in https://cognito.co.nz/resources/macos-high-sierra-compatibility/

If you want to use MacOS High Sierra you need to upgrade to MoneyWorks 8.

Note: For users of MoneyWorks 5 and earlier, you will need to upgrade your MoneyWorks before you upgrade to High Sierra. This is because you need to first convert your existing MoneyWorks files to MoneyWorks 7 format, using the MoneyWorks 7 trial (click the "try" button on the MoneyWorks web site). You will not be able to do this once you are using High Sierra.
