Sell Price

The sell price is what you expect or normally sell the item for. It is entered in the job sheet for information only, and is not a commitment to sell the product or resource at that price. It is based on the client’s Price Code, discount and quantity price breaks at the time of entry.

The real sell price is determined when you invoice the job out, and may bear no relationship to the calculated sell price for the job. Indeed the individual items that have been entered in the job sheet may not appear at all on the final invoice, and hence may not have a real sell price. Only the total job itself will have a value.
