Custom forms no longer available?

My custom invoices are no longer an option when I try to choose the form to print. When I set them up, there was no problem for a month now, then all of a sudden, they're not there? I can open it in edit and I copied it and created an new form, but that does not come up either. I get no option to search, just the original basic forms.

Any idea why this has happened?

Custom Forms Missing

You must have moved your data file. Custom forms and reports go into a special "MoneyWorks Custom Plug-ins" folder, which (unless you are connecting as a client over a network) has to be in the same folder as your MoneyWorks accounts file.

So maybe do a search for "MoneyWorks Custom Plug-ins" and move the folder to the same location as your accounts file.

Saved!

Custom forms disappeared

I am having a similar problem. I had a custom invoice on the screen, which I printed, and then clicked the "email" icon. The invoice did not come up on the email, as in it did not attach, so I thought I would close MoneyWorks and reopen it hoping the email attachments would start working again. (Has worked in the past) When I went to email or print the invoice again, I no longer had any of my custom invoices/forms available on the list. How can they just disappear like that within a span of two minutes, after I have created these forms more than two years ago and have been using them regularly ever since? I have searched the computer and the invoices/forms still exist, but they are not available on the list when going to print.
I would have tried "charleshorse" advice to move the plug-ins folder to the accounts file location but I'm not really sure where the "accounts file" location is?? Help appreciated.

Problem solved!! Missing forms found!!

After reading other forums about missing forms, I saw someone mention plug-ins. By clicking on the "Moneyworks" menu and selecting "About Moneyworks" and then clicking "system info" I could see that my plug-in path was running through a random folder on my desktop where it had no business being. No idea how it ended up there other than someone dragged and dropped on the desktop accidentally.
Through trial and error, I ended up renaming that folder, placing the Moneyworks plug-ins folder in it as well and now it works!! Of course, only after I closed Moneyworks and re-opened it, and it only took 6.5hrs of my day sheesh!! Hope this info can help someone else whose Custom Forms have disappeared.
