Imported Moneyworks Gold names into another MoneyWorks Gold

Post by wmike1503 » 30 Jan 2016 03:13

Hi all,

I think the title explains the problem.

I need to recreate a MoneyWorks file from scratch. I want to use the accounts, customers and suppliers from another MoneyWorks file. I have exported from each of the sections.

I have been able to import my chart of accounts with no problem. However, the Names.txt files, although showing a correct layout and data DO NOT import anything into my new MoneyWorks file. I've attached an image showing the dialogue box I am using.

I find this strange - names exported from MoneyWorks to be used in another MoneyWorks files - this should, surely, be straightforward?

Any suggestions, please?

Many thanks,

make a clone of your existing file - see pdf manual under Help at page 36.
