Re: Lion Compatibility

Hi again! The latest update doesn't fix the issue. Reverting to using mail. While we now have to shift-command-D to actually send the mails, creating the invoices is actually FAST and RELIABLE. When do you plan to fix this issue? Regards That doesn't look Lion-related but does look like something f...

Re: Accountant in Montreal

Hi, I sent you an email about this. I would be a little concerned if your accountant cannot get the books to balance. As mentioned we have many accountants who use MoneyWorks and have all commented on the immune audit trail etc. See the email I sent to you :-)

Hi James. Are you printing to the "Plain" form template when printing your invoice. I noticed that it places GST as a Heading on the top part of the invoice (Detail line Headers), but displays HST on the bottom part where the sub-total and Total are. I have sent an email to Cognito about this. Not s...

In short yes you would need to post the transactions. If you created a Debtors invoice and leave it /them unposted, when you look in the Balances tab of the Debtor name record, the transaction should appear in the list, but because they are not posted the balance or "They OWE" will not be affected u...

Once you have installed a registered copy of MW you can open any files you created with the demo application. Would suggest you delete the demo version anyways once you have a purchased or registered copy installed.

With regards to the total weight. I'm not sure how you're listing "weights" currently. I presume based on your previous post that you're unit of measure is some sort of weight i.e lbs or kgs etc. If so I would presume you want a total of the quantity per detail line. If so you need to create a calcu...

PST on an expense becomes part of the expense as you cannot claim PST as you would with GST. If you charge PST on sales then you would need to run the Sales Tax Report under the Reports menu. Suggest also that you take a look at this article on the NA Moneyworks website:
