A set of modular courses suitable for new and experiences MoneyWorks users (see content below) -- new users should have at least worked through the MoneyWorks tutorial before attending. Where two modules are presented on the same day, there will be a break of about an hour for lunch.
The Forms Design course is suitable for MoneyWorks Express and MoneyWorks Gold users.
The Report Writing and Job Costing courses are suitable for MoneyWorks Gold users only.
You must have attended the Introductory Report Writing before you can attend the Advanced Report Writing.

9:00am - 5:00pm: Getting the Most out of MoneyWorks $A220 inc GST
Getting the Most out of MoneyWorks is a special course designed for small business operators running their own MoneyWorks systems, bookkeepers who need to learn more about how MoneyWorks functions, the person in the office who has grown into a financial management role but never had any formal training and business owners who need grounding in the basics of accounting.
Morning, 9am - 12pm: The Accounting Basics; As an accounting program MoneyWorks is governed by accounting rules and processes. Learning these basics will enable you to both understand and more successfully manage your business.
Afternoon, 1 - 4pm: MoneyWorks; This session allows us to apply the lessons of the morning session and see how MoneyWorks handles these accounting fundamentals thus allowing you to correctly set up and operate your system and enabling you to maximize the potential of your MoneyWorks system.

Each module is typically about three to three and a half hours long (with a short break in the middle). Computers will be supplied for attendees, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer (but please advise in advance).
This module covers the basics of MoneyWorks and how to efficiently navigate the system, find information and operate on a cash basis. Suitable for Cashbook, Express and Gold users.
This module covers the issuing and paying of invoices, statement preparation and the management of accounts payable and receivable. Suitable for Express and Gold/Datacentre users who have already attended Module 1.
How to use inventory. order entry, and manage backorders. The implications of negative stock, replacement and average costs. Suitable for MoneyWorks Gold/Datacentre users only.
This covers aspects of the time billing and job costing features in MoneyWorks Gold/Datacentre.
The Intro to Reporting Writing course starts by looking at existing reports, modifying them and then creating them from scratch. The emphasis on this course is how to use the Report Writer to generate General Ledger style reports (Profit and loss, trial balance etc). Suitable for Gold/Datacentre users only.
The Advanced Report Writing course builds on the foundations developed in the introductory report course, and discusses the creation of non-general ledger style reports (debtor reports, sales reports, job reports etc). Attendees should already have a good grasp of Excel-style functions as well as basic programming concepts such as loops and conditionals.
