MoneyWorks Express can read and write files from MoneyWorks Cashbook. MoneyWorks Gold can read and write files from MoneyWorks Express and MoneyWorks Cashbook. MoneyWorks Cashbook can use custom forms created with MoneyWorks Express or MoneyWorks Gold. MoneyWorks Cashbook and MoneyWorks Express can use custom reports created with MoneyWorks Gold.

MoneyWorks doesn't lock up your data

For maximum performance and integrity, MoneyWorks uses our own purpose-designed high-performance, high-integrity relational database engine, yet MoneyWorks does not lock up your data like some competing products do.

MoneyWorks has extensive importing and exporting facilities that let you get at all your important data. If you ever want to integrate your accounting system with additional business information systems, you might find that some competing accounting programs won't let you get at critical data like, say, account balances, unless you pay exhorbitant fees for data access tools.
